The Infoplaza Dataplatform MCP Server exposes every Platform API as a tool for AI assistants and agents over the Model Context Protocol. Point a client at the endpoint below and it discovers the available tools, parameters and response formats by itself.
https://api.infoplaza.com/v1/mcp?api_key=API_KEY
Authentication works the same as the REST API: pass your key as the api_key query parameter. See Authentication.
Clients that support remote MCP servers take the endpoint as a URL:
{
"mcpServers": {
"infoplaza": {
"url": "https://api.infoplaza.com/v1/mcp?api_key=API_KEY"
}
}
}
In Claude Code, add it from the command line:
claude mcp add --transport http infoplaza "https://api.infoplaza.com/v1/mcp?api_key=API_KEY"
For clients that only speak stdio, bridge to the endpoint with mcp-remote:
{
"mcpServers": {
"infoplaza": {
"command": "npx",
"args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://api.infoplaza.com/v1/mcp?api_key=API_KEY"]
}
}
}
Once connected, the assistant picks the right tool from the question:
From your own code, call a tool by name:
const response = await mcpClient.callTool({
name: "weather_forecast",
arguments: { lat: 52.3676, lon: 4.9041 }
});
Calls made through the MCP server use the same key, and count against the same rate limits and credits, as direct API calls.
