Returns all observation sources available in the API, together with the groups that combine them. Each source represents a single data provider or network, such as a national weather service, a marine buoy network or aircraft observations, and includes an identifier, a name and a description. Groups merge several related sources into one dataset, such as all land-based weather stations or all marine observations, and list the sources they contain.
Use the sourceId of a source or group to request observations from the observations endpoints. Query a group to get combined data from multiple providers in one request, or query an individual source when you need data from one specific provider.
